Specialized Kinesiology is based on the fact that the muscles of the body can be
used in conjunction with the Chinese meridians as indicators of what is happening
in the body. Different muscles are associated with different meridians, so muscle
monitoring can give an indication of energy flow throughout the body. In other
words, Specialized Kinesiology is a tool that uses the muscles of the body as a
biodfeedback mechanism to determine if there is a block of energy flow in the
body. This blockage creates an imbalance which reduces the ability of the body
to heal itself. Once the imbalances are determined, different techniques including
stimulation of acupuncture/acupressure points are performed. This improves the
flow of energy and helps to remove blockages, bringing the flow of energy back
into balance, enabling the body to heal itself. A variety of imbalances due to
